Lanie Huijzer is the proud founder of Mountain View Community Care. Her profound passion for health care began in the Philippines, where she dreamed of helping others despite life's early challenges. Her journey of dedication took her from working abroad in Taiwan to building a new life in Canada, where she was finally able to fully pursue her calling in the health care field.
With nine years of hands-on experience as a Health Care Aide and Recreation Therapy Aide, Lanie has dedicated her career to long-term care, retirement communities, and dementia care. She holds a deep space in her heart for seniors, firmly believing in the power of compassionate, respectful, and meaningful care.
This lifelong dedication to helping others led to the creation of Mountain View Community Care. Guided by core values of dignity, empathy, and genuine human connection, Lanie is committed to supporting individuals and families. Through her leadership, Mountain View Community Care ensures that seniors are empowered to live with independence and purpose in the comfort of their own homes.
